Sir Professor Daniels Obeng-Ofori is an eminent Ghanaian academic, entomologist, and university administrator widely respected for his scholarly contributions and leadership in higher education. With a distinguished career spanning over three decades, he has earned national and international recognition for his work in agricultural sciences, particularly in the areas of applied entomology, integrated pest management, and food security.
He obtained his BSc (Hons) degree in Agriculture from the University of Ghana, Legon, followed by a postgraduate diploma in Agricultural Development from the University of London. He later earned his PhD in Applied Biology (Entomology) from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, University of London, where he honed his expertise in pest control and ecological management systems.
